A bit about you:

I'm a self taught Drum and Bass DJ and Producer from the North West of the UK and 1/4 of the team that runs Hive Mind. In my day-to-day life I work as a breakdown recovery co-ordinator and spend a lot of my evenings either getting stuck into FL Studio, or on the PlayStation with some of the boys.

What is your favourite song at the moment?

Magical Move by MNTL, the whole 'Rock In Roll Race' EP is phenominal but that tune specifically scratches an itch in my brain.

What is your favourite set that you have seen live?

Skream b2b Plastician at Boomtown 2019. 2 hours of old-school 140 Dubstep in a sweaty little 200 cap tent. Incredible set that will forever remain in my memory.🚀

Which artist have you got an eye on at the minute?

Omneum, this guy is a wizard and is only getting bigger and bigger in the scene. The levels of sound design are second to none!

What ignited your love for electronic music?

Through highschool I started making the transition from the heavier rock music I'd grown up listening to, to the more electronic tones of UKF Dubstep. From there it was a whirlwind of exploring all the different sub-genres in bass music leading to an eclectic but refined taste.

Any location, fictional or not, where would you most want to play a set?

I reckon it would go crazy to do a set on top of the Maze Bank building in Grand Theft Auto 5. Nobody would be able to hear it but the pigeons would have a good time.

What are your plans for the not so distant future?

I've had a tune in the arsenal that is due a release very soon. You will have to keep an eye out on my socials.

Do you have any advice for upcoming artists in the scene?

Don't be scared to push yourself. The best opportunities happen outside of your comfort zone.
